Welcome
If your struggling and looking for help managing difficult emotions, life changes, or challenges in your relationships you've come to the right place. I believe that compassionate, thoughtful skill building and introspection through therapy can help individuals and couples reflect, grow, and change. Using a warm and engaging approach, I work with clients to create a strong therapeutic connection and collaborate to create a treatment strategy that works for them. I provide both in-person therapy in DC and tele-health for clients managing grief, anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship issues, and those making life transitions, including changes in roles or identity.
I think it’s important to tailor therapy to each unique client, be that learning skills to enhance your ability to handle difficult emotions such as anxiety and sadness, exposure and skill-building for managing OCD; an exploration of how past relationships impact the present; or simply providing a safe, affirmative, and empathetic space to process and work through life events that have occurred. I employ an integrative approach to treatment drawing on a variety of theories and models with a grounding in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
